5 Jahre MPSP: The Ballad of Summorum Pontificum

Zum morgigen 5. Jahrestag der Veröffentlichung des Motu proprio "Summorum pontificum" am 07. Juli 2007 durch Papst Benedikt XVI. hier die "Ballade" eines englischen SP-Freundes aus Brighton (schon wieder? das war doch da, wo die Ministranten alle ins Priesterseminar entschwinden). Aber Brighton ist groß....
Geradezu eine Hymne, meine ich...
Am besten bis morgen auswendig lernen und dann bei den Feierlichkeiten ordentlich schmettern! (Und das Te Deum natürlich auch nicht vergessen!)

A treasure was released

The Mass of all Ages

The Missal was closed

Now a Priest turns the pages

So we kneel down and pray the "Confiteor"

Now he’s facing the right way, towards the Lord

"Ad Deum, qui laetificat juventutem meam"

He turns around and the people say give us some more!
